We express our deep gratitude to CIM tutor Dr Oleksandr Savych! He always knows how to create a fantastic learning environment in the classroom, encouraging each participant to unleash their potential and become a magnet for new professional qualities. It is thanks to his individual approach, professionalism, ability to charge with a fresh portion of inspiration, the use of innovative teaching methods, patience and useful recommendations that all qualification tasks were completed at a high level.

And if you are wondering what lies behind the final point and the path behind the success of the Marketing Academy, we will be happy to lift the veil of secrecy for you and show you how and what created this result.

Resource Management is rightfully considered one of the most challenging modules of the CIM Level 6 Diploma Programme. This is not only our opinion, but also that of the students themselves. At the same time, they highly appreciate the effectiveness of the course and its practical benefits. Below you can find their direct quotes and feedback on the module.

We asked Inna Logushchenko, Head of Diploma Programmes at the Academy of Marketing, to tell us about the preparation for the module and the factors that led us to such an impressive result. Here's what she had to say:

"This year it was a particularly interesting and deep dive into the world of marketing resources.

The training turned out to be dynamic and engaging, primarily due to the content of the classes being filled with new discussion topics, fresh cases and business games.

Dr Alexander Savich has done a great job of updating the course and has prepared a new carefully selected list of inspirational readings for the students. The book The Shepherd's Way by Kevin Lehman and William Pentuck made an unforgettable impression on the group. Using artistic imagery, the authors gently guided readers to understand the true role of a leader.

The business simulation ‘Interview’ was very interesting, during which students conducted recruitment interviews and voted for the best candidate for the position of CMO.

The course was also supplemented with new information on modern marketing tools that help optimise resources and adapt to dynamically changing market conditions. I am sure this has become a good basis for students to always find the right key to new technologies, trends and customer needs in their companies.

The special value of the module was also given by the diversity of professional experience of the students who represent the current stream of the diploma program.

Just imagine! Practitioners from more than 10 different fields studied in one educational space!

In addition to the field of automobile distribution, the marketing of which was represented by our course tutor, marketers from the field of managing commercial retail shopping and entertainment centers (practice from a large influential European conglomerate), from the field of accounting outsourcing and audit, IT audit, strategic consulting, studied side by side. assessments and taxation.

The field of food industry (practice from a global producer of food and beverages), retail (practice from a large seller of products of well-known global brands), the field of educational services, agricultural innovations (practice from a large holding in the agro-industrial sector) and the field of tourist services were also presented.

The general professional background was enriched by the textile industry, information technology (software development/implementation and IT infrastructure support), the distribution of cat and dog food (from a global premium pet food manufacturer). Insider information from the field of biotechnology and innovative solutions in the field of food was also heard at the classes.

Impressive, isn't it?

Studying in such a diverse and rich environment allowed each student of the module to observe different approaches to solving business problems at each lesson and allowed them to be inspired by new ideas.

Just imagine how many valuable thoughts and approaches our students took back to their companies with such a unique opportunity to share their experience!!!

An additional booster contributing to the high efficiency of this year's Resource Management module was meetings with practitioners.

The theoretical component of the course on resilience in team management was enhanced with practical recommendations by our new speaker Tetiana Shkoda, Prof., DSc, Dr hab.; the Lane Kirkland Scholar; the OeAD Scholar; the DAAD Scholar; Visiting Professor at University of Macerata (Italy) and Warsaw School of Economics (Poland); Visiting Researcher, Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition (Germany); Coach ICF, Psychologist PPT WAPP; Professor at the Department of Business Economics and Entrepreneurship, Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman (Ukraine).

Madina Khranivska, Product Manager at Bausch & Lomb, helped the students to understand the topic of marketing finance. Meetings with Madina are always useful, as the guest speaker has extensive experience in large international companies such as Publicis Group, TEVA and GSK Pharmaceuticals.  This year, as part of the module on resources, the expert presented a lecture on the practical calculation of the marketing budget.

An organic continuation of the topic of applied aspects of finance in marketing was a meeting with the module's regular expert, Dmytro Miropolets, CFO of Dolphi-Ukraine.

Compared to the previous year, guest speakers Olga Polyakova, Category Business Unit Manager EMEA Whirpool Corporation, and Ekaterina Volskaya, CEO of UniSkill, also updated their presentations.

Not by studying alone!

During the module, students not only studied but also lived their busy lives. They had a lot to discuss during small talks between classes. In addition to preparing their homework outside of school, they managed to change jobs, raise children, travel the world, go on business trips, prepare for a wedding and get married! This proves once again that with proper planning, it is possible to achieve any goal."

Here's what students say about the Resource Management module:
