About the "Marketing & Digital Strategy" module

The next opportunity to become a student at The Chartered Institute of Marketing  will be on 9 December 2023 from module "Marketing & Digital Strategy".

This is a key module of the Sixth Level CIM Diploma Programme. The knowledge and skills acquired in it are the strategic basis for the head of the marketing function of a company of any size or sector.

The module consists of three fundamental units-blocks: ​

PLANNING

IMPLEMENTATION AND CONTROL

The result of the module should be:

  • knowledge of current/future, internal/external environment analysis methods;

  • practical ability to interpret this information;

  • a clear understanding of  algorithms and practical experience in developing a marketing strategy, marketing plan and auxiliary marketing complex;

  • understanding the algorithm for determining resources to achieve the marketing plan, and creating a flexible system for adapting the marketing plan in response to external changes and challenges;

Digital has long been a key component in marketing strategy, so an important task of the "Marketing & Digital Strategy" module is to teach students the effective combination of traditional and modern, and the integration of digital strategy, relevant models, frameworks and methods to achieve competitive advantage.

In the classes of the module, an understanding of all the key areas of digital strategy is acquired. We are talking not only about the creation of sites and applications, but also about virtual reality, mobile and neuromarketing. It's always a wow-effect!

Analysis of each topic takes place through the prism of experience, cases and real challenges. Using the example of operating businesses, students learn to analyze their own actions, the advantages of partners, the position on the market, the activity of competitors, build competent communication, respond to offers revealed by digital marketing, dynamically change product properties and methods of advertising, and see new platforms for bringing business to a high-quality a new level.

This module will guide you through all stages of marketing planning: from audit, adjustment of marketing work at all stages of corporate strategy implementation to implementation of a real project. And understanding modern approaches to managing human capital and other resources, as well as mastering the use of monitoring and measurement methods will give you an advantage in achieving strategic marketing goals.

It finalizes  the study of the module is a written qualification paper, which is essentially a ready-made action plan for the implementation of a marketing strategy in a specific company.

Students choose the topic independently and very often it is based on a real case from the student's business. In this way, writing a qualification paper solves not only the task of education, but also directly of business.

The instructor of the "Marketing & Digital Strategy" module at the Academy of Marketing is the director of marketing  "KNESS Group" Yaroslav Humeniuk

Yaroslav has more than 20 years of experience in marketing and strategy,   is engaged in practical implementation of customer experience, worked in markets Ukraine, Poland, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, etc. 

In addition, Yaroslav actively works as a teacher of marketing disciplines for marketers. He has been teaching at the "Diploma in Professional Marketing" program (The Chartered Institute of Marketing) since 2018. During this time, he gained a reputation as a talented teacher and professional tutor. The rating of the passing of qualifying papers, which were prepared under his professional support, confidently reaches the mark of 90%.
