Failure - is an opportunity
to get better!
Any result is first and foremost a result and should not become a barrier to success.
What if a student's assessment does not result in a passing grade?
The answer to this exciting question, as well as the latest news on our CIM Training Centre's pass rate, is in this article.
In a sense, participating in any training programme is like entering a competitive environment where many talented professionals are striving for the same goal. Students want to pass the CIM modules and get a diploma, while marketers want to achieve marketing results and gain an edge over their competitors.
Returning to the student whose assessment did not receive a pass, let us first answer the following question. Does this mean that such a student's ideas and efforts were less valuable or less significant than those of other students who successfully completed the module? We think not.
The actual level of knowledge, skills and experience of all applicants is different when they enter the programme: some are higher, some are lower. This is an axiom faced by all educational institutions. In addition, there are many factors that affect the amount of effort and time students invest in their studies. For example, young people who are not married will undoubtedly invest different amounts of time in their studies compared to those who are already looking after children or running their own business, which requires constant commitment. And that is objective.
CIM does not aim to establish a hierarchy of the best and the worst, its aim is different - to fix a certain set of skills and knowledge at the required level. And some students need a little more time to reach that level.
In this sense, rejection and failure are not the end of the road, but a new opportunity for growth and self-improvement, another chance to improve your professional qualities.
Participation in the CIM programme is a major achievement in itself. Throughout their studies, they must demonstrate determination, commitment to the profession and a desire to learn. It is worth the effort not to miss classes ???? (but that's a joke) 🙂.
That is why CIM does not regard a negative result as a failure. On the contrary, it creates all the conditions to ensure the high quality of its qualifications through a series of supportive procedures.
One of these is resubmission.
In CIM programmes, resubmission is the process of resubmitting an essay that has not achieved the minimum pass grade, has been rejected by the UK experts and needs to be revised.
This is a good opportunity to get additional valuable feedback from experts. Students will be helped to learn from mistakes made, improve their methodology and enhance the quality of the research they have carried out during the module.
Resubmission is also part of the learning process that develops the resilience skills necessary for professional activity in a rapidly changing environment of the market for goods and services. Students learn the ability to work on themselves. It is through overcoming difficulties that we become stronger and learn more about our true abilities.
Today, no one doubts that modern marketers are often faced with complex and difficult tasks. Therefore, once the assessment has been improved and accepted, the student receives a "prize" - the willingness to "stand up" to future challenges.
And here's the news...
We are very pleased to announce that there are now more experienced and professional marketing specialists in Kazakhstan! All of our students of the Innovation in Marketing module who wished to improve their results to the required level have successfully completed the additional path of personal development (resubmission procedure).
This also means that the pass rate of our Training Centre is 100% again!
We sincerely congratulate our colleagues on another leap forward in their professional development. Thank you for not losing faith in the best and in the fact that you can achieve more!
